Doors

Life's opportunities could be seen as a series of doors. What's beyond that next door? Whether it's your job, friendship, or love you have a choice, a door. 

One door is beautiful in sight, but it's locked and there are barricades in your way. You think to yourself, whatever is behind this door must be valuable, definitely worth the work I'll put in. Unfortunately, nature within all of us wants to taste the forbidden, then we are caught off guard when we realize the poison it possesses. 

 Another door stands already open, beauty and warmth emanate from the rays of sun spilling beyond the doorway. The fact that it is already open seems to tarnish its beauty, someone already opened the surprise. However, we should run towards this door, for this one opened its heart to you, without any effort at all. It simply wanted to show you the way. 

 Effort spent on a locked door because of its perceived promise that lies on the other side is wasted time.
